  • The Safety and Health mafia are touring our company. All unsafe evils must be destroyed and removed. We have had about a zillion e-mails now on this. You may not place things on top of bookshelves with 5 or more shelves. Said bookcases must be bolted to the wall. Lamps and coffee makers are no longer allowed at all, they are too dangerous. We must work by the overhead lights or window light. You gotta love working for a large company that seems to have no common sense.


    In other news at work, it appears that Mary Kay will not be returning. I guess her thumb pain is just too horrible to bear and so my boss will be looking for a replacement. Who is going to tell me how to be moral and ethical now? Who will try to listen in to all the conversations looking for gossip? Who will tell me what schools and churches to send my kids to? I don't know how I will manage to go on!


    My boss it out today on vacation, his boss is out, my old boss Scott is out. Wow! Just me and Moaning Marilyn. Lucky me, but hey, it is a short week, no work tomorrow, so I don't care. I am going to go home, have a nice dinner, relax and then enjoy a day home tomorrow with Gene!


    We got a note yesterday from Becca's school. They tested her eyes and even with glasses her vision is 20/60. Uh-oh! It has not even been 6 months since her last glass prescription! I made an appointment for her on the 25th. The 25th will be marathon day. No before or after school care due to in service training, Megan has a dental check-up, Becca has a tooth extraction and then in the afternoon we have added the eye doctor. Whee!


    But like I said before, tomorrow is Friday and I am off and I am going to relax. And Saturday, I have a babysitter so I can go to the monthly meeting of my miniature group! Yeah! I need the R&R and intend to enjoy every moment of it.

  • Yikes! Becca's eyes are changing fast!  I remember when I first got my glasses, my eyes changed really fast for awhile.  Now they are pretty steady.

    I have that book you are reading on order along with the DaVinci Code, I got a deal if I ordered both of them.  I am eager to read them.  You should see if the Lost Skeleton of Cadavera is playing near you anytime.  The previews looked pretty silly.

  • Bye, bye, Mary Kay.  You will be missed the way a headache is missed.

    Your eyes changes a lot when you were little.  I am afraid she is doomed.
