Today I want to find a decongestant. The cold/flu part seems to be much better, but it is hard to breath and breathing is something I am fond of. I think the sinus headache is the worst, it feels like my head is going to explode. Okay, enough bitching.
Gene is home from work today! Yeah! I thought he was working but he actually is working Thursday and Friday instead. Legoland also gave him 4 passes to the park for Friday for a "Model Citizen Appreciation Day". Model Citizen is the "cute" name they use for employees. I have not told the girls yet, they will get too hyper, but I thought I would pack a lunch and take them for at least part of the day. I think they might have a pile of snow there and the girls would love that.
I am almost done with the website I am working on, the shopping section done by tonight. Yeah! It will help a lot to have Gene here. Yesterday, even with Jeff watching the girls, the kids still ended up needing a lot of my time/attention so it was not as productive as I had hoped. Still, the girls had a great time with Jeff, he ended up being like one of them and even joined in a loud and giggling game of hide and seek with Becca, Megan and several neighbor kids.
Thank goodness there is not school for Becca this week or I would feel overwhelmed!

Ow! I'm sick too.
If you get a chance, pick up an accupressure book. There are several really effective pressure points for dealing with sinus relief.
For instance, applying five minutes of steady pressure, about ten to fifteen pounds, to each side of the bridge of your nose. Then drag your index fingers down at an angle from the bridge, next to nostrils, down to either side of mouth. Repeat a few times.
This can relieve 'stuffy' feelings in your nose.

I know what you mean about school..... I had every intention of doing school this week with my kids, but decided not to. Our two week Christmas vacation is now a three weeks. The kids were so happy!

Legoland sounds fun. We may have to visit if we make it to San Diego this month. I am looking forward to seeing the ocean again. Imperial Beach and La Jolla! I really liked those two places.
humidity? -tea -steam Vicks? ....smells funcky though. Caution-no nasal sprays for more than 3 days.........(makes it worse)
