THREE DAYS TILL ENGLAND!!!
Woohoo! Can you say excited?? Oh my gosh, I can't wait!! Well, actually, I can wait, I do have a fair number of things I have to do between now and Saturday, but that is good, keeping busy will make the time go faster.
According to the BBC, the predicted high on the day we arrive, in our friend's village will be 37 F. Wow! Real winter, not this whimpy California stuff! *bounces* Gosh I hope it snows while we are there!
Becca is back at school today and I am back at work. Her temperature was normal last night and again this morning. She does have a cough and a runny nose, but some children's Tylenol Flu medicine seems to take care of those problems.
In other new, the new baby panda was named. He is Mei Sheng, which means Born in America. Oh my gosh he is a cutie. He will officially go on view to the public this Friday, which is quiet a bit earlier than the previous baby went on exhibit. The zoo says that this time around the mom is much more relaxed about having a cub and laid back about everything. Hmm, sounds like any mom with a second kid! I watched the little panda on panda cam yesterday and he was so cute! Gaming friends of ours yesterday just announced their engagement. They plan to have a Renisance wedding. They are in a ren faire guild that they are getting Lizard and me into. I will be making garb, but I will need to put off mine until as late as possible if I am having the surgery. I plan to do an embroidered coif for part of my garb. What fun.
What an adorable baby face that is!
