  • FIVE DAYS TILL ENGLAND!!

First, as many have asked, Becca is doing much better. She is not 100% yet, but we seem to have her fever down to the 101 range. I am home from work today watching her. I can't totally complain, it gives me more time at home to finish getting ready for our trip, and it still feels like there is so much to do. Anyhow, Becca is doing well enough to play and even grumble when I ask her to pick up or do things she does not want to do.

The weekend was busy. Yesterday I worked on packing as much as possible and organizing things for the trip. I think we can get away with three suitcases for the girls and I, I am trying to pack as light as possible. Unfortunately, winter clothing is a bit more bulky for packing. I also sorted out some activity books and things I bought the girls to do on the plane.

Then off to Chuck E. Cheese with Megan, while Gene stayed home and took care of Becca. This was my first trip to Chuck E. Cheese. As far as I can tell, it is about 500 kids, all on a massive sugar high. But the kids had a good time and I didn't have to clean up. Yeah!

Home to piles of laundry to fold and put away, most packing and cleaning, just lots of busy stuff.  Since I am home today, I hope to finish webwork for a client before we are off on our trip and finally get the tree decorated. Poor thing has been waiting a week for lights and ornaments! If Becca is feeling well enough, she can help me out.

Hope everyone has a great week! Five days!!

  • I would be so excited I would be bouncing off the walls!  If you get to Hampton Court, the Royal School of Needlework is housed there.

  • Five days!?!?!  It's coming fast!   :)

Glad Becca is feeling better, poor kid.

The kids locally have been hit especially hard it seems with the flu.  Some of them aren't pulling through, which is so sad to hear about.  A local 10 yr old just passed yesterday from the flu... sad, sad.

You've never been to Chuck E. Cheese?!?!  It's cool!  (Well... I liked Show Biz, better, but I think those are all gone now... bought about by Chuck & company) I like to take the kids there... pizza & games!  Woo!

  • I am so glad Becca is doing better.  I couldn't help worrying.  Glad you survived Chuch E Cheese.  Personally I would be happy to never ever have to go there again.  However, the no cleaning up part is really good.

The panda pix are soooooo cute.  Those pandas just know how to be adorable.

    Love to you all, Mom
